What This Covers

DiggerLid Package Protection is an optional service available at checkout. It provides priority support and expedited replacement if your order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

This service is designed specifically for High value products, bulky freight and commercial deliveries.

Expedited Resolution Commitment

If an eligible issue occurs, DiggerLid will:

- Begin assessment within 1 business day of notification

- Approve and arrange a priority replacement or refund within 2 business days (once required information is received)

- Prioritise replacement stock ahead of standard dispatch orders (subject to availability)

- Cover the cost of replacement freight

- Where stock is temporarily unavailable, we will provide a priority backorder allocation and clear ETA.

What Is Covered

- Freight damage

- Items confirmed lost in transit

- Theft after delivery where proof of delivery indicates the parcel was left unattended

- For depot collection freight, protection continues until the parcel is collected within the carrier’s standard holding period.

What You Need To Do

To activate Package Protection, you must:

- Notify DiggerLid within 7 days of marked delivery (loss or theft), or within 48 hours of receipt (visible freight damage)

- Provide photos of the item and packaging (for damage claims)

- Confirm delivery details where reasonably requested

We keep this process simple to minimise downtime on-site.

What Is Not Covered

Package Protection does not apply where:

- An incorrect delivery address was entered at checkout

- Delivery instructions requested authority to leave at an unsecured site without signature (unless required by the carrier)

- The item has been used, modified, installed, or intentionally damaged after delivery

- Delivery was refused or not collected from depot within the carrier’s holding timeframe

Package Protection is optional and provides benefits in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights, guarantees, or remedies you are entitled to under law.
